Can You Get All Starter Pokemon in Pokemon Emerald?
No. You cannot get all three starter Pokemon in the same save file in Pokemon Emerald through normal gameplay. Choosing one means the other two are not available later in the game.
What Happens
- You have to choose one starter at the beginning of the game
- Your rival takes one of the remaining starters
- The last starter is never obtainable during the playthrough
There is no event or location in the game that gives you access to the other starters later.
Why This Feels Risky
The game lets you pick from three Pokemon but never tells you what happens to the other two.
This makes it feel like you might be able to get them later.
